Gunyon named associate dean in College of Business and Management

Dr. John Gunyon has been named the associate dean of the Undergraduate School in the College of Business and Management.

In his new role, Gunyon will lead the faculty and academic programs for the Undergraduate School. He will also oversee the deployment and scheduling of adjunct faculty in collaboration with the Graduate School.


Gunyon joined Stritch as the chair of the Associate of Science in Business program in March of 2013, and he later became chair of the undergraduate accelerated programs. 

Prior to Stritch, Gunyon worked in a variety of positions in higher education in Illinois and Wisconsin, serving as department chairman of social and business sciences at Heartland Community College, as professor at George Williams College, and assistant professor at Aurora University.He also has worked as an adjunct faculty member at Stritch since 1995. 

He has a Ph.D. in organization and management from Capella University, an M.B.A. from Stritch, and a bachelor’s degree in communications from UW- Whitewater.
