Overview
Cardinal Stritch University has partnered with LiveText to support assessment efforts of student, course, and program outcomes across all colleges.
A fundamental component of the assessment of student learning outcomes is ensuring student performance is continuously improving over time. All academic programs at Stritch must engage in assessmen tregardless of whether the program is accredited. LiveText functions as avaluable tool to support each program's current assessment efforts. For example, ongoing work needed to maintain each college’s assessment plan may include a great deal of paperwork, depending on faculty or staff for course-level data each semester, finding a location to compile and store data and artifacts, and typically lacks an easy or consistent method for pulling data, reviewing artifacts that support the data, and making instructional or curricular decisions based on actual assessment efforts.
Implementation of LiveText as an assessment management system serves as an opportunity for Stritch to define a standard approach and supporting software toolkit for course/program/college/University outcomes assessment and electronic portfolio management.

Information for Students
Your LiveText Subscription
All students in the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education and Leadership, and College of Nursing must purchase a LiveText subscription online at www.livetext.com. There is a one-time cost of $98 for a five-year subscription.
Students in the College of Business and Management will purchase a LiveText subscription along with their course materials from the CBM bookstore. There is a one-time cost of $98 for a five-year subscription. Upon purchase, you will receive a key code within the LiveText membership packaging which will be used during account registration.

Information for Faculty
Accessing LiveText
Faculty will access LiveText for the first time with a key code. If you have not already received a key code, contact your College Assessment Coordinator or Data Quality and Institutional Research at dqir@stritch.edu.
Visit this link for instructions to register your membership using a key code.
After registering your membership for the first time, you will continue to log in using the username and password you created at www.livetext.com.
