Cardinal Stritch University has partnered with LiveText to support assessment efforts of student, course, and program outcomes across all colleges.
A fundamental component of the assessment of student learning outcomes is ensuring student performance is continuously improving over time. All academic programs at Stritch must engage in assessment regardless of whether the program is accredited. LiveText functions as a valuable tool to support each program's current assessment efforts. For example, ongoing work needed to maintain each college’s assessment plan may include a great deal of paperwork, depending on faculty or staff for course-level data each semester, finding a location to compile and store data and artifacts, and typically lacks an easy or consistent method for pulling data, reviewing artifacts that support the data, and making instructional or curricular decisions based on actual assessment efforts.
Implementation of LiveText as an assessment management system serves as an opportunity for Stritch to define a standard approach and supporting software toolkit for course/program/college/University outcomes assessment and electronic portfolio management.
