Services, Infrastructure team has the responsibility for providing a mechanism
for identifying users on the network and for allowing those user accounts to
access network resources. While some systems have their own local user
directories, the primary network account information for all users is stored
in Active Directory. This account is used for computer sign on, access to file
shares, e-mail, my.stritch.edu and other network resources.
How to Use this Service
Customers use this service whenever they authenticate to network resources that use Active Directory as it's authentication provider. For example, whenever you log in to a Stritch-provided computer or check your e-mail, you are using Active Directory to authenticate.
