Service Description

Cardinal Stritch University Office of Information Services, Infrastructure team has the responsibility for providing and maintaining local server(s) for supporting software and courses specific to Apple Macintosh clients. This includes network authentication using Open Directory, file sharing over the Apple Filing Protocol (AFP), or application licensing of Apple-specific software.

How to Use this Service

1. When on campus, faculty, staff or students who use the Macintosh computers in their offices, classrooms and labs and connect to afp://mac01 use this server for file sharing.
2. If you need specific access to a Mac file share, please contact the service owner.
3. Additionally, customers in labs using Vectorworks link back to mac01 for application licensing.
