Service Description
The Cardinal Stritch University provides access to supplemental course material that instructors have placed on physical reserve for students in the library, as well as electronic articles on the library website. Items placed on reserve mainly consist of books, AV items, articles, or electronic articles that can be checked out for the amount of time specified by the instructor for the particular item. Electronic reserve articles are accessed by way of the library website.
How to Use this Service
Students can check out physical items at the circulation desk at the front of the library. Students must present their Cardinal Stritch ID card for the item to be checked out for the specified time on the item. The student shall return the reserve item to library staff at the circulation desk when finished. Electronic reserves can be accessed on the internet so one does not have to be in the library to access the electronic reserve. After locating the electronic reserve through the libraries reserve search, the student will be prompted to sign in to access the material. In order to access the material the 16 digit number on the student ID card must be submitted along with the student created PIN; if a PIN was never created there will be a prompt to create one at that time.
