Software for Cardinal Stritch University Owned Computers:
Cardinal Stritch University provides software for University owned computers through the Software Licensing program in Office of Information Services. User Support Services is responsible for providing a standard desktop environment in accordance to various software licensing agreements.
Software in Labs and Classrooms:
A variety of programs are installed in labs and classrooms, and multimedia carts throughout the University. A core standard image has been created and designed to meet the needs of faculty and students across the University. Specialized labs can be found in the Joan Steele Stein Center for Communication Studies/Fine Arts and the College of Nursing.
Personal Software for Students/Employees:
Student discounts on a variety of programs, including Microsoft Office and Adobe products, are available through the
website. Be sure to use the Cardinal Stritch University web store.
With our connection to Dell we get an discount for all Students/Employees if they choose to purchase a new computer.
End of Life Software
User Support Services will support all standard software through the length of time related to the software license. User Support Services will make all necessary efforts to maintain the latest version of software on all University owned computers. Please note, software may not be updated immediately upon release due to timing and its relation to the school year.
