Support Groups and Programs

A variety of resources, including support groups, programs, and peer educators.

Educational Support Groups

Topical groups are offered each semester after assessing student interest. The emphasis is on acquiring new skills and gaining awareness that will promote individual growth. Groups are facilitated by a professional counselor.

Groups may  include:

  • Stress and meditation
  • Parent support group
  • Adult children of parents with health and mental health issues.
  • Using creative expression as means to personal growth

Before the group begins, you may meet individually with its facilitator(s). During this meeting, or at the first meeting, the group facilitator will provide you with information about what happens in group and answer any questions that you may have.
