Full-time undergraduate students enrolled at Stritch in a traditional
program, ADN students enrolled in clinical and all international students with
an F-1 visa are automatically enrolled in the student health insurance plan. The
2011-2012 insurance plan is provided by Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS), a
leader in Wisconsin health and accident insurance plans for more than 65 years.
The plan offers $25,000 of coverage per policy year. Students who wish to
purchase additional coverage or “buy up” to a higher level of coverage may do so
on an optional basis. The buy-up must be purchased by Oct. 1.
Coverage for part-time students, graduate students, and dependents is
available (directly through WPS). Part-time and graduate students taking at
least 6 credit hours are eligible to voluntarily purchase the plan directly from
WPS.
