Strategic Management of Information Systems

Designed for the adult undergraduate student, the Strategic Management of Information Systems program emphasizes the strategies involved in managing technology and the information it generates. The program includes courses that provide a basic management foundation and also emphasizes specific areas like database management, systems analysis and design, and enterprise resource planning. Students take one course at a time in a designated sequence. They work in project teams that increase their learning opportunities, serve as a support system, and allow them to evaluate diverse solutions to typical management challenges.

A graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Strategic Management of Information Systems degree program is well-positioned to manage the information technology processes and solutions that have become an integral part of an organization’s overall business strategies, as well as to facilitate communication and strategic planning between the technology side of an enterprise and those who consume its products.
