Campus Safety

Security's motto and goal is "Prevention, Protection."

To ensure safety, Stritch's Department of Security operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Security Department offers an after-hours security chaperone service, patrols the campus and parking lots, does presentations on crime prevention, and provides brochures on date rape, personal and campus safety and other similar subjects. It maintains a strong working relationship with the police departments of the village of Fox Point and the city of Glendale.

To report a crime or other on-campus emergency, contact the officer on duty, at (414) 410-4220.

University Security Policy and Crime Statistics

Federal law requires each university to collect information concerning campus crime statistics, campus security policies and campus crime prevention programs. The law also requires each institution to make reports to the campus community on crimes that are reported to campus security or local police agencies and are considered to be a threat to students and employees, in a manner that will aid in the prevention of similar occurrences.
