The Dean's List comprises students who have attained a quality point ratio of 3.5 or higher in any semester. To be eligible, a student must have carried at least 15 credits taken for letter grades, not Pass/Fail, with no D's, I's, or F's.
This award is designed to recognize and encourage a commitment to diversity issues, including efforts to create an inclusive, accepting community in one's workplace, campus and/or the community at large. Nomination/application forms are available in February.
This award, sponsored by Mission Engagement, recognizes a graduating senior in our traditional undergraduate program who, by their everyday words and actions, recognizes the goodness and dignity of every human person no matter how “rugged” or different.
This award is bestowed on one or more graduating seniors, enrolled in traditionally taught undergraduate programs, who have a history of exceptional service that reflects Franciscan values at Cardinal Stritch University and/or in the community. The student(s) should also have a record of outstanding leadership at the University and/or in the community while enrolled at Stritch and a solid record of academic achievement and/or contributions.
The Sister Camille Kliebhan Award is named for Sr. Camille Kliebhan, past president and chancellor of Cardinal Stritch University and recognizes an undergraduate student from each college for outstanding academic achievement, leadership and service. This is a college award and the recipients are selected by each college rather than community nomination.
The Sister Joanne Marie Kliebhan Award is named for Sr. Joanne Marie Kliebhan whose leadership guided the University special education programs for many years and recognizes a graduate student from each college for outstanding academic achievement, leadership and service. This is a college award and the recipients are selected by each college rather than community nomination.
The Dr. Robert Flahive Essay award is in honor of Cardinal Stritch University’s former senior vice president whose leadership embodied the Franciscan values. Male and Female Athlete of the Year
The Cardinal Stritch University Male and Female Athlete of the Year Awards are given each year to one male and one female student athlete who exemplify the very best of our athletic program. Recipients must have junior status or above with a proven record of academic success, who have contributed significantly to the athletic success of his/her respective sport program, have a proven record of leadership in adherence to the NAIA Champions of Character values and a proven record of advancing the values of Cardinal Stritch University. This award is selected each year by the Athletic department rather than community nomination.
