In the model of St. Francis, Stritch offers many opportunities for service.
The bulletin board in the breezeway toward the Campus Center lists volunteer opportunities and updates from Milwaukee’s Peace-Action Center. Students can sign up there for the St. Ben’s Meal, serving a hot meal to homeless people, or the Shelter Visit/Service, taking lunch and visiting with the homeless.
In addition, the CROP Walk against hunger, which takes place in October, is one way to support those who suffer from hunger locally and around the world.
