To support and advance the mission of Cardinal Stritch University through grant-supported projects and programs, the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations and the Grants Management Coordinator in University Advancement are appointed to review and submit grant proposals, obtain authorization from University administrators, facilitate negotiations, oversee important policies and procedures, and accept awards on behalf of the University.

The Grants Policies & Handbook is intended to assist faculty, deans, and staff in the process of developing and submitting proposals for grant funding and in the administration of grant awards. This guide is available in hard copy format from University Advancement and also on line at my.stritch.edu. Please familiarize yourself with this guide and contact University Advancement with your questions.

To build and steward meaningful relationships with prospects, donors and funding agencies, the University requires the support of the entire Stritch community. As a result, we carefully coordinate all approaches to previous and potential funders. Our relationships with faculty and staff are integral to this process, and we encourage you to actively communicate your funding needs, interests, and donor prospects as early as possible so that we may budget time and resources in order to meet deadlines.
