Student Government Association (SGA) is the main governing body for all undergraduate students. SGA seeks to be the guiding force behind student life at Cardinal Stritch University. With a committed group of professional student leaders, SGA strives to create effective change on campus, meeting students’ needs and concerns and facilitating programs and activities.
SGA sponsors large campus activities such as the annual Christmas Dinner Dance, Club Carnival, and student/faculty forums. Opportunities exist for all students to get involved.
The Student Government Association elects six executive board members each year. These executives consist of: president, vice president for legislative assembly, vice president for clubs and committees, vice president of operations, secretary, and treasurer.
SGA Elections were held from March 26-28, 2007. For the first time in SGA history, elections were held online this spring. Students received e-mail messages directing them to vote and guiding them to the voting site. Six new executive board members and 15 senators were elected and were sworn in at Honors Day on April 25, 2007.
