Being accepted to Cardinal Stritch University is an important achievement worth celebrating! Upon acceptance, we want you to have a smooth transition to Cardinal Stritch University. Here are a few things you will need to do to be prepared:

Freshmen

 

Activate Your MyStritch Portal

Before using the MyStritch self-service portal you must first activate your account. Your username and temporary password for MyStritch will be available in the account information email sent by the Office of Information Services.
 

Submit Your Tuition Deposit

Confirm your admission and housing status by submitting your deposit. The deposit is $150 for students who live on-campus ($100 tuition deposit and $50 room deposit) and $100 for students who commute. The $100 tuition deposit is refundable until May 1, and the $50 room and board deposit is refundable until July 28.

You can pay the deposit in the following ways:

  • Online: Log in to MyStritch, click "Finances" then "Account Balance & Payment."
  • Mail: Mail a check to the Office of Admissions payable to Cardinal Stritch University.
  • Phone: Contact the Business Office at (414) 410-4232 to pay by card.
 

Fund Your Education

Counselors in the Financial Aid Office can help you find out how you can fund your undergraduate education. They know that each student is unique and can work with you to locate the options available to you. Scholarships, discounts and tuition reimbursement with select organizations and companies might also be available to help you reduce your costs. All U.S. citizens and permanent residents seeking to earn an undergraduate degree are eligible to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Eligibility for federal and state funds depends on a variety of factors so review the financial aid process and use Online Aid Services to track the status of your financial aid award. Depending on when you were accepted you might also receive your first bill from the Business Office before your first class.
 

Choose Your Housing Option

Whether you decide to live on campus, or commute, let us know by submitting your Housing Preference Form on My Stritch. Log in to My Stritch, click on the ‘Stritch Resources’ tab and click on ‘Housing Preference Form’ to access the form. If you plan to live on campus, submitting this early will give you the greatest chance of having your preferred type of room. You will need to submit your tuition deposit before completing the Housing Preference Form.
 

Submit Your Health History Form

All full-time students are required to submit a confidential Health History Form before the first day of class. Log into My Stritch and click on the 'Stritch Resources' tab and click on 'Medical History Portlet' to complete the form.
 

Attend New Student Registration Day

After you've been admitted to Stritch, you will receive an invitation in the mail for New Student Registration Day. This is a requirement for all new freshmen.
 

Attend New Student Orientation

After you register for classes you will be invited to attend New Student Orientation. Orientation is mandatory and occurs the week before classes begin. It is a great opportunity to meet your new classmates, current students, explore campus and learn about campus resources and opportunities for involvement. There are social opportunities and optional excursions to explore the City of Milwaukee. Information about New Student Orientation will be mailed to you over the summer. Remember, your Admission Counselor is still available throughout this time to help you get ready.

Take a moment to visualize all of the reasons you are continuing your education. Your new journey begins on the first day of class but you are not alone. As a new freshmen, the faculty and staff at Cardinal Stritch University will work together to help you have a rewarding experience. Transfer Students

Attend Transfer Student Registration Day

After you've been admitted to Stritch, you will receive an invitation in the mail for Transfer Student Registration Day. If you are required to take the CollegeBoard ACCUPLACER test prior to registering for classes, you will be notified by your admission counselor to schedule a time to take the test.
