Federal and state regulations require that all institutions of higher education comply with existing state laws affecting the delivery of distance education degrees, programs and courses. Cardinal Stritch University joins over 1,300 other private and public institutions that participate in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) which establishes a state-level reciprocity process that supports the nation in its efforts to increase the educational attainment of its people. Stritch participation in SARA is administered by the Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC) .

Students residing in these states are eligible to enroll in fully online curricula, but there are different conditions for each state that may restrict eligibility for certain sorts of additional instructional experiences (such as clinical or internships) in a few of our programs.
