The Saint Clare Center for Ministry and Leadership

Education and formation for lay Catholics who seek to grow in faith and service

Carrying out the mission of the Gospel requires the committed, faithful effort of all the baptized.

The mission and ministry of the church cannot be left for just a few people to do — we must raise up more and more people who hear the call to be disciples, ministers and leaders. We are called to help people grow as ministers and as leaders so that they may renew the church and the world.

Shaped by the Franciscan tradition and serving a diverse community, the Saint Clare Center helps students discern their individual callings and prepare for a wide variety of ministries. The Center's many collaborative relationships with and within the Archdiocese of Milwaukee enable the delivery of adult formation to more than 2,000 lay Catholics annually — in two languages — through a variety of programs.
