Information for School Counselors

We appreciate the support that our future students receive from school counselors and college advisors. Having access to the latest information about Stritch will help you stay in touch with the wonderful achievement of our students.

Academic Excellence

The University consists of five schools and colleges: College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business and Management, College of Education and Leadership, Ruth S. Coleman College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and the School of Continuing and Online Learning.

In addition to our full-time faculty members we also employ adjunct faculty who remain practitioners in their fields and provide highly skilled instruction. The average student-to-faculty ratio is 11-to-1. Stritch offers more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs.

Transfer Credits to Stritch

In the admission process, students must provide transcripts from each college or university attended. We will review the courses already taken to find out what will transfer to Stritch. Check out our guide that explains credit acquisition or view a list of institutions we partnered with to establish articulation agreements.

The Admission Application

Applications for undergraduate admission are reviewed on a rolling basis. We encourage students to apply online, at no cost, to simplify the admissions process. Some academic scholarships require having an admissions application on file, and being accepted, to see if a student can qualify.

International students will need to submit additional information regarding language proficiency and obtaining a student visa. If helpful, note holidays and vacations on the academic calendar.

Contact the Office of Admissions

Each year, we host the Annual Counselor Breakfast in fall. This annual tradition is a great time to learn more about Stritch and network with your colleagues from the region. Invites for the next breakfast will be sent before fall. Events for prospective students are posted on the University Calendar.

Let us know if our admissions counselors can be of assistance in your work with students. Connect the admissions team at 414-410-4000 or by email.
