Through its annual Alumni Awards program, Stritch honors its most notable alumni for their professional and personal achievements which have made a significant impact in their field, and whose life and character have earned the respect and admiration of their peers and professional colleagues.


The 2016 Alumni Awards ceremony was held at Stritch on Saturday, June 11. Alumni Board President Zoreedua Perkins, '06, '08, and President Elect Carilyn Carlson, '08, emceed the ceremony.

Highlights from the evening included dinner, the Jubilarian Pinning Ceremony for the Class of 1966, and the presentation of awards - including the Mother Bartholomew, OSF, Lifetime Achievement Award to Sister Justine Peter, OSF, Ph.D., '50. Sister Justine was honored by several alumni and colleagues including Chris Lange, '11; Dorothy Schroeder, '65; John Eastberg, '93; Lisa Bangert Balistreri, '90; and Sister Coletta Dunn, OSF, Ph.D., '60.
