Save the date for a chance at a full-tuition scholarship: Sat. Feb. 1

Recipients of the Trustee and President level Franciscan Heritage Scholarship are invited to participate in the 30th Annual Honors Scholarship Competition.

Register for Honors Scholarship Competition

The Honors Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship, renewable for four years at Stritch. During the competition, students write an essay and participate in a series of interviews with Stritch faculty, administrators and current Honors recipients. Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on an evaluation of the interviews, written essay and Honors Scholarship application materials.

Parents are encouraged to attend. Special programming for parents will take place while students compete.

To be considered for the Honors Scholarship and register for the competition, you must submit the following:

  • A concise Personal Statement, describing what it would mean to you to receive the full-tuition scholarship at Stritch (up to 250 words)
  • A short resume detailing current honors, awards, activities, service, and work experience
  • Two signed letters of recommendation from a teacher, school counselor, employer, or other professional reference
  • A senior portrait or equivalent photo (used to help Stritch judges identify you during the competition day)
