Performing and Visual Arts Events



Guest artist Greg Hartmann along with the Stritch Vocal Ensemble and Community Orchestra present selections inspired by the romance of spring including Serge Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor, Op. 18.

On this concert, the Orchestra will feature guest artist Greg Hartmann, performing Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in c minor, Op. 18. Mr. Hartmann is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree, at the Graduate Center, CUNY, as a student of Julian Martin, and recently won First Prize in the 2018 Memphis International Piano Competition, Second Prize in the top division of the 2019 Schubert Club Scholarship Competition, Third Prize in the 2018 High Point University Piano Competition, and the Jung-Springberg Award for Outstanding Musicianship, in the 2018 Kuleshov International Piano Competition, among others.  The Vocal Ensemble will perform selections inspired by the romance of spring.

Location

Concerts are performed in the Nancy Kendall Mainstage Theater in the Joan Steele Stein Center for Communication Studies/Fine Arts building on the Cardinal Stritch University campus. Tickets are still available for pick up in the Box Office at the front of the Nancy Kendall Theater.
