Board of Trustees welcomes new members

The Cardinal Stritch University Board of Trustees elected Dr. Deborah N. Allen and Ron Phelps, ’93, to serve a three-year term on the Board. The Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, the founding Congregation of Cardinal Stritch University, confirmed the elections.

Allen is president and chief executive officer of The DNA Network, which assists executives in developing their leadership, human resources and organizational skills through coaching and educational programs. Prior to the DNA Network, Allen served as president and CEO of Nevada Corporation. She also served as a mogul in the second season of Cardinal Stritch University’s Project Pitch It, a television program designed to inspire innovation and entrepreneurism in Wisconsin.

Phelps is the senior vice president, wealth advisor and portfolio management director for The Phelps Hamus Group at Morgan Stanley in Madison, Wisconsin. Since earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Stritch, he has spent more than 20 years serving the wealth management needs of families, business owners and executives. In 2016, he established the Ronald L. Phelps Annual Scholarship for Military Veterans and Families at Stritch.
