Former board member funds new scholarship

President Rinehart welcomed former Stritch Board of Trustees member Jim Loughlin and his wife, Dottie, to campus in August 2018. They established the Loughlin Family Endowed Scholarship to provide support for Stritch students, with a preference for assisting veterans or those currently serving in the military, immediate family members of a veteran or service member, or students majoring in criminal justice.

“The Stritch community thanks Jim and Dottie Loughlin for their service to the University and for making a Stritch education possible for a new generation of students,” said Coleen Southwell, associate vice president and senior philanthropy officer.
