Marathon runners form first-ever “Team Stritch” at Milwaukee race

On a chilly October morning, a Cardinal Stritch University team of alumni and friends limbered up to run in the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon. The seven athletes represented Stritch in the University Challenge for the first time, competing against representatives from several other local universities in a show of pride.
Among the more than 3,000 marathon runners, Team Stritch included: Kelly Anton; Bryan Davis, ’16; Jeff Schneider; José Medina, ’09, ’12; Ric Schmidt, ’02; Stephen Schmidt; and Kim Wittenberger, ’03.
In addition to runners, the Stritch community got involved with the marathon as volunteers.
