Stritch is home to one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive collections of Franciscan literature. From biographies to children’s books, the Franciscan Center Library contains more than 7,000 titles, as well as art and historic artifacts.

With so many items to explore, how do you even know where to begin? We’ve gone straight to Stritch’s own resident expert. Recently retired Franciscan Center Director Sister Margaret Klotz, OSF, Ph.D., ’71, shares her recommendations for those interested in learning more about the Franciscan heritage.
