Dan Bader, president and CEO of Bader Philanthropies, receives 2022 Kellner Spirit of Philanthropy Award

Dan Bader, president and CEO of Bader Philanthropies, received the 2022 Kellner Spirit of Philanthropy Award on November 15. The award was presented during a dinner hosted by the Cardinal Stritch University President's Tau Society at the Wisconsin Club in downtown Milwaukee.
"Dan is such a deserving recipient of the Kellner Spirit of Philanthropy Award," said Stritch President Dr. Dan Scholz. "He inspires others to step up and support causes and initiatives that lead to lasting and significant change. He also creates meaningful connections by convening and uniting people around issues that must be addressed so all members of our community and society have the opportunity to live their best lives.
"Dan’s impact at Stritch has been significant. His support of the vision and the creation of the Stritch Leadership Center resulted in an innovative approach to leadership and an entirely new way to form and prepare leaders who would go on to influence our community for generations to come."
Stritch presented Dan Bader an honorary doctorate of humane letters degree in 2019 in recognition of his daily commitment to active engagement and an enduring investment in educational and social justice programs that cultivate the minds and hearts of all people
The Kellner Spirit of Philanthropy Award recognizes significant philanthropic support to Cardinal Stritch University and the Milwaukee community for the advancement of education and the greater good. Dan received an honorary doctorate of humane letters from Stritch in 2019 in recognition of his daily commitment to active engagement and an enduring investment in educational and social justice programs that cultivate the minds and hearts of all people.
