Stritch Community Orchestra to perform fall concert

The Stritch Community Orchestra will open its 2022-23 season with “Schubertiade in Milwaukee” on Thursday, Nov. 10. The concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Nancy Kendall Theater, is a tribute to renowned composer Franz Schubert.

Soprano Amelia Spierer will sing Schubert’s “Ave Maria” and “Gretchen am Spinnrade.” Additional performances will include “March Militaire,” “Symphony No. 8 in B Minor (Unfinished)” and “Armed Forces Salute.”

Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students, seniors and Stritch alumni. Visit stritch.edu/performingarts to purchase tickets.
