Top 100 Performer on Social Mobility

Stritch earns spot on U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges list

Cardinal Stritch University earned a spot on the U.S. News & World Report 2022-2023 Best Colleges list with its #99 ranking as a Top Performer on Social Mobility. This Top 100 ranking recognizes Stritch as a university that supports and creates pathways for economically disadvantaged students.

According to usnews.com, “Some colleges are more successful than others at advancing social mobility by enrolling and graduating large proportions of disadvantaged students awarded with Pell Grants. The vast majority of these federal grants are awarded to students whose adjusted gross family incomes are under $50,000.”

Stritch ranked higher than every other university in Wisconsin for social mobility.

“We are very proud to rank in the Top 100 Performers on Social Mobility,” said Dr. Dan Scholz, president of Cardinal Stritch University. “The guiding vision of our founders and sponsors, the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, was to provide access to a Catholic, Franciscan education for anyone who sought it. As we uphold their legacy, it is paramount that we continue to remove financial barriers that prevent students from obtaining a college education.”

To help students navigate the cost of higher education, Stritch awards financial aid to 100% of its full-time undergraduate students. Learn more about our financial aid program.
