Stritch community supports students through Pop-up Pantry

In February 2021, Stritch's Office of Diversity & Inclusion and Office of University Ministry teamed up to create a "Pop-up Pantry" for all students.

Members of the Stritch community are invited to donate non-perishable food items, personal care items and other basic essentials to the pantry, which is scheduled to be open through March.

"The Lenten season allows us the space to turn from our usual ways of moving and being, to taking time to ask and notice what God is calling us to change in our lives," said Director of University Ministry Akua Kankam. "This is a season for us to become renewed to one another through sacrifice and connection. We hope this initiative will assist students who may need a little extra help with food and other basic items."

For more information on the Pop-up Pantry, please contact Assistant Dean of Students Teon Austin or Director of University Ministry Akua Kankam.
