
Stritch honors students for academic, leadership, service and athletic achievement

Cardinal Stritch University honored students for their outstanding academic, leadership, service and athletic achievement at a celebration on April 28.
Students who are graduating with academic honors and those who earned the highest GPA in their respective majors also were recognized.
The following awards were presented:
Valedictorian - Sophia Valenti, Bachelor of Science, Biology
Salutatorian - Mikayla Wankowski, Bachelor of Science, Education
Sister Camille Kliebhan Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award that recognizes undergraduate students for outstanding academic achievement, leadership and service. This award was named after the late Sr. Camille Kliebhan, OSF, past president and chancellor of Cardinal Stritch University.

Sister Joanne Marie Kliebhan Outstanding Graduate Student Award that recognizes graduate students for outstanding academic achievement, leadership and service. This award has been named for the late Sr. Joanne Marie Kliebhan, OSF, whose leadership guided the University's special education programs for several years.

Diversity and Inclusion Award that recognizes a student who has demonstrated a commitment to the dignity of every human person, celebrates diversity and works actively to advocate for a more inclusive campus culture.

Pace e Bene Award that recognizes a student who, by their everyday words and actions, recognizes the goodness and dignity in everyone, incorporates Stritch's mission in their personal spiritual and faith life, actively expresses their faith in daily life and contributes to the spiritual and faith lives of the campus.
- Dinah Aming'a, Bachelor of Arts
Samuel Cardinal Stritch Service Award is presented to a graduating senior in a traditional undergraduate program who has a history of exceptional service and academic excellence. The award honors the legacy of Milwaukee’s former Archbishop who was dedicated to Catholic education and encouraged the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi to start this University.

Robert Flahive Essay Award is presented to the student who shared a reflection on how the Franciscan value of the year - Creating a Caring Community - made a difference in their lives.
