The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program provides current business professionals with the necessary skills to be more competitive in the complex global marketplace. Stritch provides students with a sound understanding of the technical, global, cross-cultural, and ethical context of business through the lens of a business leader. Additional Information

Teams formed in each course integrate diverse backgrounds and opinions and serve as a support system that benefits the entire educational experience. Students will also learn how to explain business issues using effective written and oral reports.

The program provides application of business knowledge, including systems, processes, financial analysis, human resources, customer relationship management, and business leadership. It also prepares students to work effectively in teams, to serve as a team leader, and to become a skilled communicator and an ethical decision-maker.

ACBSP Accreditation

The MBA program at Stritch has also received accreditation by the  Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. The ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation body for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. The association embraces the virtues of teaching excellence and emphasizes to students that it is essential to learn. 

Additional Graduate Focus Areas:

This concentration offers in-depth coverage of critical health care topics such as information management, human resource management, marketing and economics. During each course of the concentration, students apply theoretical concepts to case studies based on classic and current issues found in the health industry. MBA program graduates who complete this concentration are well-prepared to assume the duties of middle and upper level management positions in the healthcare industry. (Additional 12 credits)

Offers students offers in-depth coverage of critical criminal justice leadership topics such as policy and administration, risk assessment and mitigation, justice management and contemporary issues in justice administration. MBA program graduates who complete this concentration are prepared to assume the duties of middle and upper level management positions in the criminal justice agencies and organizations. (Additional 12 credits)
This concentration is designed for students who are interested in acquiring the skills and competencies necessary to marketing functions within a business, offering in-depth coverage of critical marketing topics such as consumer behavior, global markets, marketing management and healthcare marketing. MBA program graduates who complete this concentration are well-prepared to assume the duties of middle and upper level management positions in marketing in the business environment. (Additional 12 credits)

Application Process and Requirements

Academic and Professional Requirements

Prior Education: A bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited college or university; and a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale in all undergraduate work.

Required Experience: A minimum of three years, full-time work experience with exposure to the functions of management such as planning, budgeting, organizing, staffing, leading, training, analyzing, or controlling.

Admissions Application and Transcripts

Submit the admissions application which is free to complete online. Applications for this program are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Request Transcripts: Have official transcripts from each college or university you attended delivered directly to the Office of Admissions. Cardinal Stritch University alumni and current students should inquire with the admission counselor about locating transcripts already on file.

Transcripts from institutions outside of the United States require a course-by-course evaluation with GPA. Request the official report from ECE or WES to be sent directly to the Office of Admissions. Allow time for the evaluation to be completed since it could take up to 4-6 weeks to be created.

If your prior education was not conducted in English, you must demonstrate proficiency with acceptable scores from the TOEFL, IELTS, or an ESL program. How many credits is the program?

36 credits, consisting of 12 courses at 3 credits each.
Optional concentrations are an additional 12 credits.

How much will books cost?

The cost of books varies by course. Once you know the courses you are taking each term you can use that course number to search for the book at the Stritch Bookstore.

What courses will I be taking?

Courses are offered in a face-to-face or online format. Courses are six weeks long meeting one each week from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A list of specific courses are provided to students on Registration Day by an Academic Advisor. Counselors in the Office of Admissions are available to assist before a Registration Day. 

Can I apply for financial aid?

We welcome you to discuss funding your graduate education with either your admissions counselor or a financial aid counselor. Before pursuing the financial aid process, you will need to apply for admission and be admitted to your graduate program. 

Is this program accredited?

Yes, this program and Cardinal Stritch University are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Select programs in the College of Business and Management have also earned additional accreditation by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs.
