ART 133 Overview

Students will be introduced to the fundamental technical information necessary for skilled, expressive and safe use of equipment and materials to create three-dimensional works in clay. Included are a variety of hand-forming, finishing and glazing methods to provide a vocabulary with which to express ideas effectively. This course is contextualized within the historical continuum of human clay use, from very ancient times to the present. Lab Fee Required.
