CA 340 Overview

Students will study the role written and oral communication play in today's organizations in both theoretical and practical contexts. This course will explore diversity, culture and relationships in the workplace. Students will discuss and role-play difficult situations at work and will chose a final project that best relates to the career field they plan to enter. Prerequisite: Junior/senior standing or department approval.

The class explores diversity, culture, and relationships in the workplace. Students will discuss and role-play difficult situations at work. Students will chose a final project that will showcase one of the following: 1) their written skills, 2) their oral presentation skills, or 3) both their written and oral presentation skills. The final presentation should be something the student could utilize in their career field.
