CJ 260 Overview

In this class, students will learn about the corrections system—e.g., how it runs, what it’s like to be in it, what it does to people, and how people get there. The class also will discuss the corrections issues that pervade much of the crime-related policy debates these days and the theories and philosophies of punishment. Prerequisite: SC 101 (or as a co-requisite). Corequisite: SC 101 (or as pre-requisite).
