CS 270 Overview
Computer Robotics develops students’ computational, manufacturing, and critical thinking skills. The course goes well beyond merely using robots by developing the skills and practice necessary to create robots and to develop the programming that animates them. Students will learn basic computing and manufacturing skills, with the emphasis being on robotics and robot programming. Utilizing modern programming languages, CAD software, and the Arduino robotic control system; students will learn about the mathematics and algorithms that make computers and robots’ work.
