HRM 454 Overview
This course is a study of the role of the Human Resources (HR) function. It focuses on effective ways to increase HR's influence, meet an organization's HR needs, and improve organizational results. Students examine the role of the human resource professional as a strategic partner in managing today's organizations. Key functions such as recruitment and selection, employee training and development, performance management systems, retention, compensation, and labor relations are examined.
