HS 215 Overview

The course will examine the United States history from its origins to 1877. Students will examine how a diverse group of people came together to form 13 new colonies, then rebelled against the British and won their independence. Then the course examines how common people and their leaders built a new nation. The course concludes with a study of how slavery tore the nation apart and caused the Civil War.
