MUE 555 Overview
This course will focus on collaboration and communication skills necessary for special educators to work in partnership with parents, paraprofessionals, other school team members, and community agencies to plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs. Teacher candidates will learn to apply these skills in transition planning as program considerations for transition as a lifelong process. The concept of self-determination will be introduced and the importance of Self Advocacy for teachers and students will be discussed.
