NUR 210 Overview

This course provides the student with the knowledge and skills required to assess the health of diverse patients across the lifespan. Mental health and safety risk screening are embedded in the assessment. A holistic approach is utilized with a focus on expected findings and abnormal variations. The clinical interview incorporates person-centered communication and therapeutic use of self. Prerequisite: BSN major, Bl 111 or BL 106, BL 112, PS 190. Corequisite: NUR 110.
