NUR 220 Overview

This course describes general principles of pathophysiology for health and illness across the lifespan with a focus on acute and complex disease. The etiology, risk factors, physiology, clinical manifestations, and diagnostic tests of acute and chronic illness are explored. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of pathophysiology and an introduction to inter-professional management. Prerequisite: BSN major, BL 111 or BL 106, BL 112, CH 107. Corequisite: NUR 110, NUR 210.
