NUR 310 Overview

This course introduces the research process and evidence-based practice in nursing. Interrelationships between theory, practice and research are discussed. Research is applied to clinical practice to improve quality, safety and patient outcomes. Legal and ethical considerations are examined. Prerequisite: RN to BSN: SEM 103 or otherwise granted permission by the Dean or designee; BSN: EN 102, MT 120.
