PS 354 Overview
This course focuses on how the brain and hormones influence our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, which in turn, change our brains. Topics include learning, memory, problem solving, eating, sexual behaviors, and disorders including depression, schizophrenia, drug addiction, and Alzheimer’s disease. Studying biological psychology helps us explore the connection between physiological functions and psychological development. Prerequisite: Students majoring or minoring in psychology must take PS 101 before taking this course..
