RLA 314 Overview
This course is an exploration of upper elementary and middle school literacy strategies for the promotion of vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, study skills, and written expression; selection of appropriate literature, practice materials, and technology; exploration of formats for organizing classroom instruction; and implementation of procedures for assessing and monitoring learner progress. This course includes an embedded field placement that will be guided by the course instructor. Prerequisite: RLA 307 and RLA 312.
