SPN 300 Overview
This course examines the historical and sociological phenomena of the Latinos in the U.S. through literature, film, art, and essays. One of the primary areas of focus of the course will be to compare and contrast the twentieth-century experiences of the largest Latino populations: those who can trace their heritage to Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Central America. Course is taught in English.
