SRB 540 Overview

This course is designed to provide an overview of the fundamentals of marketing in sport and recreation as students will learn the various ways in which marketing permeates sport. Topics include advertising, promotions, pricing, sponsorships, market segmentations and the role of research. Students will create a marketing plan for a business to showcase their professional presentation and communication skills.
