
Close Contact Notice
If you have been in close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, it is necessary that you do the following:
- Quarantine or isolate - View CDC Infographic
- Follow the directions of the contact tracer or your local health department
- Consider following the recommendation to get tested for COVID-19
*Note: If you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 90 days, talk with your doctor about the need to quarantine. In addition, as long as you do not have symptoms, you do not need to get another test for COVID-19. If you develop or have symptoms of COVID-19, consult with your medical provider.
Isolation Calculators

If you are symptomatic and have tested positive for COVID-19 then you must isolate for 10 days from the date your symptoms began. To stop or discontinue isolation, at least 10 days must have passed since your symptoms began and at least 24 hours have passed since your fever went away without the use of fever-reducing medications (such as Tylenol or Ibuprofen) and other symptoms have improved.

On this date, you may resume your usual activities but should continue to monitor for symptoms for an additional 4 days after release from quarantine and contact your healthcare provider if symptoms develop. You should still take precautions to reduce your risk of exposure (i.e. social distancing, frequent handwashing, and wearing a mask when social distancing isn't possible).
NOTE: Release from quarantine after a 7-day quarantine can be accomplished if the following criteria are met: (1) a test is performed on Day 5 or later of quarantine and the result is negative, (2) no symptoms of COVID-19 develop (remain asymptomatic), and (3) self-monitoring for symptoms [check temperature and other symptoms twice daily] for an additional 7 days after release from quarantine.
