Heidi Aringer has been a mental health and wellness counselor in the Stritch Health and Wellness Center since August 2017. She has a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University and is a licensed professional counselor. Heidi has previous outpatient experience assisting clients of all ages dealing with depression, anxiety, relational issues, trauma and substance abuse issues. Heidi’s approach to wellness and counseling is to use a holistic, yet solution focused approach, to help individuals reach their personal and professional goals. She believes examining overall health, including nutrition and sleep habits, is a vital step towards improving quality of life. Heidi is also responsible for supervising the peer health educators and coordinating the Health and Wellness Center outreach programs. Heidi believes in an open, honest, client-driven approach to therapy. You will always find a smile, some humor, patience and a judgment free zone in her office.
