Jackie Sukowaty joined the Stritch Human Resources department in February 2017. She is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all aspects of the employee experience from student employment to those who serve as faculty and staff members. Since Jackie’s arrival at Stritch, she has used her forward thinking approach to help implement changes to the way the University hires, onboards and educates employees on their benefits and streamlines processes to help save time and be cost effective. Jackie previously worked in human resources on a federal contract that provided security to federal employees. Jackie earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in criminal justice and a master’s degree in business from Cardinal Stritch University. Jackie strongly believes that employees are an employer’s greatest asset.
"Even when I went to school at Stritch, there was a much different feel then I had experienced before. So, when I became an employee, from the first day, Stritch felt like I was part of a family. That is what drives me to worker harder and push for what I believe will be best for everyone at Stritch, whether they are a student asking about the workforce or an employee who needs help. The people here make me want to be a better leader!"
