Dr. Howard is a proud Cardinal Stritch University PhD graduate with a doctorate in Leadership Studies completed in 2019. Her dissertation research and academic interest is how to engage online students in the virtual learning environment. She has been teaching online for the College of Business and Management since spring 2019, currently in the HRM curriculum. She currently works as an adjunct faculty for two other universities as well. Dr. Howard spent most of her career in higher education as an instructor and later as an administrator. Most recently, she was the Director of Workforce Training at Gateway Technical College where she managed three departments - customized training, apprenticeships, and professional development workshops. Her early career was human resources and corporate training for organizations such as Steelcase North America, Amway Corporation, Bissell Inc., Wolverine Worldwide, Spectrum Hospital, and many smaller companies in West Michigan.
