Currently I am a Site Facilitator and Literacy instructor for the Cardinal Stritch University Literacy Center. I have graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a BS in special education in 1978; from the University of Iowa with a MA in learning disabilities in 1984; and from Cardinal Stritch University with a Mentoring Certificate and Doctoral Work in Literacy and Language. I retired from teaching Middle School and High School Special Education after 33 years, having worked in three states. I am married for 30 years to a wonderful man and have a son. I enjoy reading, nature, knitting, and traveling.
